With the approach of summer, the following notes should be noted:

Solar heaters convert thermal energy and radiation from the sun into direct heat, and therefore the system is in working condition as long as it is exposed to the sun.

In the event that it works on the sun and there is no consumption, this leads to the failure to benefit from the resulting energy and its accumulation (if you will) and thus turns into high pressures and boiling

In the case of traveling for tourism, for example, or partly not needing the solar heater (some production lines, for example, or chalets) or a relatively low rate of consumption,

Example: a house in which there are six people, three of whom are traveling (such as student housing)

In these cases, we recommend the following:

- Covering the heater completely in case of travel for periods exceeding several days and leaving the house empty and there is no consumption of hot water, to avoid high temperatures to boiling and thus affecting the pipe network and avoid excessive pressure on the safety valves, which sometimes leads to damage and its exit from the warranty, which is considered misuse .

- Partial coverage of the solar heater if the user finds that the temperatures are very high, especially in the summer, as the consumption of hot water is little and the heating capacity is very high. In this current the customer can cover the bottom of the pools.

- Ensure periodic maintenance (check the magnesium column, safety valve,), especially in flat-panel solar heaters and closed tank systems, which are located in places that use desalinated water such as Hurghada, the Red Sea, Sharm El-Sheikh and the North Coast, for example.

- Do not disconnect the electricity from the control panels when traveling and make sure that the water supply is continuous to compensate if the solar collectors (vacuum tubes or flat panels) are not covered.

Inform the specialized service center in the event of any leakage, inefficiency, or any abnormal signs such as signs of corrosion, rust, or change in the color of hot water. In order to avoid problems before they occur

The above notes are nothing to worry about but to avoid malfunctions and increase the life span of the solar heater.
